He knew where Apple was going, and its worth.
It was his vision, he hired Timmy.

I agree but my main complaint is the lack of quality control, the constant (predictable) need for software fixes that I didn't experience under Jobs. Apple is all about making money now. Younger people who buy Apple stuff won't realize how much more reliable and desirable OS updates used to be, so they will just say stop complaining.

Jobs worked on the iPhone 6 before he died so I think your first point is likely incorrect. At the very least, he was certainly quite aware that the iPhone was going to get bigger. It pretty much had to.

How about instead of fanaticising about a guy in turtleneck sweaters saving the forbidden fruit, we, as gdamn top dollar paying customers, voice out our opinions, thoughts and suggestions in a more meaningful way than “Steve Steve Steve Steve Steve…”.
I advocate for an entity external from Apple, bridging the customers wants and needs to the people in charge.

If only that worked. Now apple have regulators so far up it’s backend it’s extremely likely the Rott will hit the fan by the governments blunt sledgehammer.

The 1.8 billion devices says you're incorrect. Basically the universe does not agree with you. Companies who put profits first don't make it to a market cap of trillions. Apple grew this way because (1) they are smart and (2) they product products people decide to buy (by in droves that is).

My issue is I see it as apple essentially heading on a head on collisions to implode unless they change course early before it becomes way too late.
History is full of Apple like companies, doing the same thing as they grow bloated and implode to the next apple.

Would he fire everyone? Nope. He handpicked many of the executives, including Tim Cook, himself. I do think there would probably some hires that he wouldn't have done, especially those who screwed up Apple retail/genius bar. Tim Cook did have some misses in terms of hiring, and it was discussed in his book. And Jobs definitely wouldn't bother with the environment/wokeness stuff.

Imo if Jobs were still around, there would actually be more litigations as Jobs was not as diplomatic as Cook. Remember, he swore to kill Android with every last money Apple had. He would probably hold keynotes every quarter just to lambast Epic and those wanting sideloading/alternate app store. He would probably also lambast the politicians. The possible bad side effect is that Apple might suffer and not be as huge as it is now due to his behavior. But what Jobs would do better definitely in his portrayal of Apple. Unlike Cook who just kept quiet all this time, Jobs would've been more vocal, and at least he will rally all the Apple fans together to support his vision under his reality distortion field.

Do note that product wise, Apple is still within the vision that Job had, except for the latest Macbook Pros design. Jobs would've loved the Apple Silicon. Thinner devices with everything soldered in. He would definitely not approve the latest Macbook Pros. We would see portless Macs and iPhones by now... and everybody will complain about it. Oh and we would see an Apple Silicon powered "G4 cube", all glass cover, $9999, available now.
