Hi all,
I friend offered to sell me his iMac G3 233mhz, 6GB, 64MB OS 8.6 with mouse and keyboard for 50 euros, is this a good deal? Would it e to slow for word, web browsing and itunes?

Don't get it unless you are really desperate. It is too slow for anything but OS 8-9 apps (which would include Word 98, Explorer 5.2, and iTunes 2.x if you really want to use them). I recently bought a working iMac (266mHz, 6GB, 96MB RAM, no CD drive, original keyboard and mouse) from a friend for $5, and the only reason I feel good about it is that now I have a spare Apple USB keyboard.

No. Too slow, not upgradeable enough, USB 1.1 and no Firewire.

An iMac 400DV with Firewire for that price would be worth looking at.
