I recently traded for a Ruby IMac G3 but the optical slot loading drive is broken. This is a problem because I’d like to run the software restore disc and factory restore the computer so I can use it. I tried removing the drive and cleaning it but it still doesn’t work. I cannot find a replacement drive that is compatible so I’m seeking options. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
