iMac G5 Rev A wont wake up!?

So I usually let my little baby sleep while I am away, not big deal, I come home from work and plop down on the couch to see the little blinking white light dying in anticipation for when I wake him up. I get home last night, no white light, so I hit the power button, nothing. I have no idea what happened, and NO idea what to do. Any help would be great please, and yes I looked to see if it was plugged in on both ends

Did you have a power surge or something? Is it not responding to the power button at all?

its funny, because the night before we lost our power from a huge thunderstorm, but the little guy just turned right back on, so I dont think it was a power surge, and no, it does NOTHING when I hit the button, no sounds lights or anything

Are other electronic devices able to work from the same power socket? Could you try a new power cable on the iMac?
