iMac keyboard to boot G4

I have a quick question about the old iMac keyboards. I see they had a power button on them... would this button work to boot up a Powermac G4 or Cube? My Cubes power button is broken, and I figured if I could just grab one of these keyboards I could use it instead. Is it doable?

yea im pretty sure it would work. They are cheap as chips now, so you won't lose much for trying
