Resolved IMac Pro 2017–Good deal? (SCAM)

I’m potentially in the market for an iMac, depending on price. I’ve never used Craigslist much, but I decided to look and found an ad that looks too good to be true:

27 inch 5k iMac pro (2017)
3.2 GhZ Intel XEON W

32 GB 2666 MHz DDDR4

1TB flash storage SSD

Radeon Pro Vega 56 with 8 GB

VERSION 10.13.6 of High Sierra

Apple Care until May 2021

Seller claims it was a gift and rarely used. Willing to meet in public place to hook up, display for buyer. It has keyboard, trackpad, all original documentation and boxing. The photos look good and clean.

Price $1000

Those of you in this forum will undoubtedly know more than I, as I’ve never had a desktop Mac. But doesn’t this price seem low? What (if anything) am I missing?

That's wayyyy to low.
Claiming it was a gift is usually saying 'I have no original invoice'
Check the serial number against Apple's records to be sure.

Anyways, personally I would avoid rather then potentially deal with any stolen items etc.....

Lol, come on they are £4300 in the refurb store and not even a year old.

Anyone who falls for this scam needs some counseling on street smarts.
