Wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem.

Two phones of mine VERY intermittently will not deliver an iMessage to someone.

It shows on my screen it’s delivered but the recipient isn’t getting them.

Doesn’t happen often but it does happen occasionally.

We exchange screen shots and they show me that they never got it and I show them it says delivered.

Anyone else?

God bless

Is it possible the iMessage is going to another Apple device of theirs? I have missed iMessages from people this way before that have gone to my Mac or iPad, for example.

Good point but wouldn’t it be consistent and not intermittent?

I think it could depend on whether their alternate iMessage device is seen as active at the time you are sending the iMessages to them or not which could possibly explain the whole "intermittent" thing.

I'm honestly only questioning if it's this one scenario. I'm not entirely sure if it explains it since there may be other explanations. I know it was inconsistently an issue for me personally too till I just turned iMessage off on those devices altogether.
