iMessage not activating.

So, I changed phones, I used to have a white iphone 5 and now I got a black iphone 5. I put the new chip in the new iphone, but iMessage never activates on this new phone... Things are still working fine on the iPad, put I cant get iMessage to activate on my new iphone 5. What do I do?

What iOS version did the white 5 you had previously have on it?

Also did you say you got a new SIM card?
