Hi all,

My company is switching from Google Apps to Outlook for email. I'd like to convert all of my Gmail labels to categories in Outlook. I'm hot on the trail of a way to get all of my Gmail labels downloaded as a CSV.

Now I'm trying to figure out how I can bulk add categories into Outlook. I've seen a number of workarounds to import categories into Outlook, but they all seem to only work on Windows.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Your company is changing email providers? If so, to whom?

Gmail labels equate to folders, not categories. Not that you can't make the change the way you want...I'm just sayin'.

We're changing from a Google Apps system to Office 365. IT is handling a transfer of all of our data from the back end.

I understand that labels map to folders, but I'd like to reorganize as categories. I'm hoping I can hack together a way to get a list of labels out of Gmail and then batch import those categories into Outlook.
