In which system is it easier to use the TI-89 software?

Is it easier to use it in Mac OS X or XP?

I have a TI-89, but I am having a hard time trying to put some programs. And with the updates I am also having problems. It asks me for my username and password, but it always tell me it is incorrect.

Anyone here knows of some easy to read guide in the internet?

By the way, anyone knows how to get the domain and range? Yes, I know, this should be really easy, but this is my first time using it, and I am starting to miss my old scientific calculator.:(
