The Felt sleeve from Inateck is a stylish case for the iPad mini range. While it officially lists the retina 2 and 3 models, the marginally slimmer first gen model will also fit.
It's constructed from a thick, padded felt material with a soft inner lining to protect the iPad. Craftsmanship is high with an excellent feel to the sleeve and immaculate finishing throughout. The sleeve is finished with a leather style strap that swivels between open and closed and is secured on the front by a magnetic closure.

The party trick of this sleeve if you want to call it that is the ability to fold up origami style to act as a stand. This works surprisingly well and is sturdy in use.

While the padded felt is great to avoid scratches and minor bumps, the absorbent nature of felt means you would want to avoid all potential liquid hazards. I think this lends this sleeve ideal for use at home or as secondary protection when stored inside a bigger bag or case.
