Reviewing my the services I get through the App Store I see some strange inconsistencies.
Year to date, I've been charged $15.49/month for Netflix. No Tax.
HBO was $14.99 until April when it became $15.99. No Tax— Until June— when it WAS taxed my local 8% rate, totaling $17.27. Why the change?
Up to May, I was charged $6.99/month for Apple TV Plus. No Tax.
I switched from ATV Plus to Apple One in June. The $16.95 turned into $17.23 because of tax of 1.65%. Why wasn't ATV Plus taxed?
I subscribe to Apple News for $9.99. No tax.
I'm not sweating the money. It's not a lot of dough. But I like knowing exactly what I'm charged. I don't understand the inconsistency.
