So for those that are interested here is a video that came out a few days ago hosted by David Pogue with several people that worked on the original Mac having a roundtable discussion.

There is also some other interesting videos that you guys might like that I think are rarely seen also presented by the Computer History Museum including very long and extensive interviews with Apple's original investor, and the two guys that we have to thank for all the good stuff Apple gives us today, Jon Rubinstein and Avie Tevanian. They are quite long and in 2 parts, so think of it like you are listening to an audiobook with video.

Also for those that are old school Mac fans, here are some apps for your Mac that you guys might like:

mactracker.png

Mac Tracker- Let's you keep track of all the Apple stuff you have amassed over the years along with showing the specs and history of the product. Also neat to just check out all the stuff that Apple has made in the decades past.

shopdifferent.png

Shop Different- Takes you back through the history of Apple Stores from early on when they all first launched in a first person view. It is pretty neat when it works but for whatever reason it isn't working properly for me right now?

mac.js.png

Mac.js.app- A neat little app that gives you an idea of how things were around MacOS 8 days. It isn't really an emulator as much as it just kind of gives you an idea of how Macs were back then.

If you guys have any cool videos or apps like this I would love to see them too!

Well… I can proudly say I’ve never owened a WinTel, started out in 1983 with a Timex Sinclair ..

And in Sept-1984 the original 128k Macintosh.
I was involved with Macintosh SIG’s heavily in the late 80’s thru mid 90’s, Ann Arbor one and Southfield one.
Taught various Mac specific courses there.

So many Macintosh models since 1984… easily $40k worth of hardware …
Loving my M3 laptop in my basement office

Ok, I like the Mac Tracker app.

Who to give feedback to?
1) favorites list is nice, but no way to sort them. I’d like a few basic sorts at least ; by launch date, by grouping

2) also roll up the $’s spent, yes, let’s see it all. I could be the base model or user input $ when select the item
