Installed Mail app & it doesn't show up on touch

I did a search but couldn't find much. I had to reinstall my mail app that was originally installed by ijailbreak. I downloaded a rar file of iphone apps, connected to touch, dragged the mail app into the applications folder, changed permissions to 755 on all filed in mail folder, and restarted touch. Unfortunately, mail does not show up on the screen at all. It no longer shows up in settings either. Did I miss a step? The mail app shows up when I reconnected to touch so the program is there. Has anyone had this problem?

Nevermind. I didn't intall the latest mail. got it working now
