One of the legacy machines in my collection is a late G4 iMac (1.25Ghz/USB2). This machine had been running Leopard but I recently changed it to Tiger as it was a bit too sluggish with Leopard. I would like to copy the iTunes library from one of my El Capitan machines to the iMac. After deleting the old folders from the iTunes directory I copied the files from the El Capitan machine. So far all I have been able to do is selectively add albums via File/Add to Library. Not only is that slow (this music library is 95GB) but none of the associated artwork is being included.

Is there a simple way to get the entire new library, with its artwork, to be recognized by iTunes under Tiger?

And I assume there is no hope of also importing the playlists from El Capitan?

Thanks,

John
