A long time ago I found a Mac OS X Lion DP3 installer, so today I took my Late 2006 iMac to install it. I imaged the InstallESD file in the installer to the USB and when I booted of that USB I got this error message (see the attachment). Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

Is there a way to bring up a Log window in the Installer? Check what it says.

Maybe you need to set the date back to 2011 due to expired certificates.

Well I did set the date back to 2009 prior to booting of the USB. And I can’t open the Installation Log, as well as any other application in the Recovery OS.
