Just a Quicken 2007 users note: Many financial institutions eliminated download to "QIF" file format some years ago, and I have never used "QFX" file format.
So I purchased a couple of the data translators from MoneyThumb which allows me to convert CSV to QIF and PDF to QIF for an additional one-step ability to import my bank statements and credit cards.
Citicards and American Express both allow me to download in CSV format; if CSV download is not available:
Their PDF to QIF converter actually scans a monthly statement PDF and finds just the data to convert to QIF to import into Quicken.
