Intel iMac or PowerMac for Logic Pro?

Apple is boasting that their new Intel iMac's are *twice as fast* as the previous model. I know it's pretty damn early in it's life, but how does the 20-inch iMac compare to a present 2GHz PowerMac?

Also, any word on when the intel version of Logic Pro will be released? Considering it's a "Pro" program, I figured they might not release it until the Intel PowerMacs would be released.
