iPad Interesting case+hub combo

This is actually one of the more interesting hubs for the iPad that I’ve seen so far. It would be nice if they offered something similar without needing the case but spanned the width.
Seems expensive for what it is. I'm sure there is someone who wants to use their iPad in that way, but for that price I'd rather get a magnetic folio hybrid setup and a much cheaper USB C hub for when I'd need to use my tablet in that way.

Or if you're going to get a set up with a permanent USB C hub attached and make it more bulky why not go all out and get a keyboard to go with it?
