I deleted some software without using the uninstall software for the product. I later rebooted and now my internet connection will not (connect). I looked at the System Preferences Network and my IP address is 10.0.1.2 and it should be 192.168.xxx.xxx. Any idea how I can get Network back?

Is the 10.x.x.x address a manually entered one? If so change it to the 192.168.x.x address you had previously, along with any other details such as subnet mask, router and DNS server IPs.

If you don't know those details, set your network up to use DHCP, and your network card should get all the details it needs from your Internet router (which usually have DHCP servers running by default).
System Preferences > Network > Configure IPv4 > Using DHCP
