Internet Recovery Failed to download Mountain Lion (MBP mid-2012)

Hello everyone. I am having this issue when trying to do Internet Recovery:

Is this an internet connection problem?

Also, I tried to boot it from USB but got a different error. I created USB using Windows 7 and TransMac with a copy of ML which I got from the Internet. I dont have an access to another Macbook at the moment.

Any thoughts? Thank you!

You have a similar problem on both "failed to verify BaseSystem.dmg ... ", or similar...
I would suspect that you have RAM errors that affect loading the installer.
Boot to the Hardware test, (Restart while holding D), then run both the standard and extended tests.
If you get errors, replace the RAM. If you get no errors, reseat the RAM (swap the slots)

Try the Internet Recovery again, and do that while connected through ethernet wired directly to your router. That may give you a more reliable download than wireless.
