hey i have a mac book pro and have connected to the internet successfully on many occasions. However the other day my internet suddenly stopped working. When i went to network diagnostics it said that i was connected up until network settings. I have fooled around on my own computer, but still cant fix it. I know its not my actual wifi network because my mother and father have no problem connecting... Any ideas?

What brand router do you have?

Did you set yourself a static IP on the MacBook Pro, but not turn off DHCP on the router?

Did you try turning off the Airport and then back on again?

Have you tried a wired connection?

Does it work in other locations (starbucks, friend's house, school)?

Have you tried restarting your MBP?

Have you recently updated something?
