I've been trying to figure out how to invoke Siri from an external keyboard. I have one of these Zagg products:
http://www.zagg.com/accessories/zaggkeys-ipad-profolio-plus-keyboard-case.php#profolioplus

And my iPad supports Siri.

I know that I can press a home key (on the device and keyboard) to invoke Siri for general usage. But I want to open up a text window, and then invoke Siri with my Bluetooth keyboard attached.

And I also know I can turn off the BT keyboard and invoke Siri from the on screen keyboard. But I don't want to have to turn on/off the keyboard just to bring up Siri.

Thanks!

This is just a wild guess and probably won't work but try pressing "fn" twice quickly. That's how you activate dictation on Macs.

EDIT: Oops, doesn't look like this keyboard has an "fn" key. I don't know what to suggest then.
