Ive noticed this since the update last week. My iphone 7 will become warm under light use. Never had this issue before. Anyone else?

It’s probably due to temporary background activity or indexing. Give it a few days to wrap things up.

This was happening on my iPhone 8 Plus for a few days on iOS 11.4 but now back to normal.

My 7 runs quite cold unless Maps is navigating etc, I'm a week or so on from the update.

You might want to close all your apps, check if any need to update, restart the phone.

Indexing and other post update processes take a day or so to settle down at most. If it's still running hot a week after updating it is most assuredly not this.

I have to agree now after myself having this on my iPhone X for some time after installing 11.4.1.
My setup is fairly simple, yet the phone gets real hot when using Safari.
