iOS 11 on 1st gen Air

i have an iPad Air and wondering if upgrading to iOS 11.4 or above would be a good idea?

I always keep the latest version of iOS on my Air Gen1, and really don't have anything negative to say about it.

It's not the quickest draw in the west, being 5 years old now, but it performs just fine.

It will be exciting to see what speed increases iOS 12 brings, which reportedly will help older devices like ours.
