Kinda nervous...Beta 1 has been absolutely stellar for me. Don’t wanna mess up a good thing!

*installing now*

It's a small update, 82mb on iPhone XS Max and and 80mb on iPad Pro 11'. I guess they want to have it ready as soon as possible, so that they can focus on iOS 13.

Cue the “it’s an ‘i’ build, no thanks” comments

Regardless of the letter, ioS 12 has been out for over 6 months now and should be fairly polished at 12.4, even on a beta and an 'i' build.

Build is 5027i

Its the same build number as last week, they probably found something needing fast fix for more broad consumption

build is 5037 instead of 5027, so 10 builds higher?

Yes, 10 builds ahead of beta 1

In terms of speed and agility:

12.4 B2 >> 12.4 B1 >> 12.3 > 12.2

In terms of battery, 12.4 B1 might have been the best iOS 12 release till date. Bar none.

Apple might have a winner with iOS 12.4.

Continued from last beta:

Not sure if this is the right place but I’ve noticed today that I can no longer say “hey Siri turn off all lights except living room” (or any other room). The response is “Sorry I wasn’t able to find anything like that in the Living Room in your Home this time”

I don’t know which beta this started with and it occurs no matter which device I ask, iPhone, HomePod. Can anyone else try/replicate this please?

I’ve reported it too. Thanks.

Edit: the command works from my watch using the latest beta

It looks like Apple is rushing to release every iOS 12 update they can before WWDC event next month for iOS 13 ^^
Not quite sure what you mean by this? What is "every update"? Apple has frequently released x.4 versions of its software. Not sure how this is "rushing".

They should make iOS 12.4 perfect and call it a day. Then improve iOS 13 from where they left at iOS 12.4.

I dont think the animations on the xs max are as fast as they was on beta 1, but lets see if the whole indexing thing is causing it, it deff feels slower overall

Hmm... My XS Max continues to say "Your software is up to date." I tried turning the phone off and back on, but same result. Also verified that the profile is still listed in settings. Any ideas? P.S. Was able to download on my iPad like normal.
