Relatively recently, possibly after I upgraded my iPhone 7 Plus to iOS 12.3.1, I’ve been getting long lags after launching the Settings application.

The app will launch, but the screen will be unresponsive for several seconds. I cannot scroll nor can I select any of the settings. The app is just completely unresponsive for those several seconds, and then works fine after that. Rebooting the phone doesn’t change this behaviour. Also, even when the Settings app is unresponsive, I can exit the app using the home button and enter other apps just fine. The phone and OS are not hung, and I don’t see this lag in other apps. It’s just the Settings app.

Anyone else see this? Is there a fix?

Does it happen every time you open Settings? I have the same problem on my 7+, so you're not alone, but it's infrequent/random for me and will happen whether it's a "fresh" launch of Settings or has been open in the background.
