Just upgraded to iOS 13.6 DP2.

For the uninitiated - VoIP services are blocked in the UAE. Things like FaceTime and WhatsApp calling don’t work. So, FaceTime simply doesn’t show up as an app on such devices.

After upgrading to 136 DP2, I’m seeing FaceTime on my home screen for the first time. No idea if this is a glitch or if the UAE Telecom Regulatory Authority is finally relaxing this restriction, but an interesting development nonetheless.

I’m still unable to log in using my Apple ID, so I’m leaning towards this being a bug.

Well, it only shows up if your region is not set to UAE. Even if that is the case, it doesn't work (but every single iOS device I own has been bought in the UAE, so I believe they're hardware locked).
