What’s the verdict? Battery? Speed? Performance in general?
I am running 12.4.1 and it is pretty fast.

Running it on my X and it works fine - speed and battery life is similar to IOS 12. In certain ways I think it is faster than 12.4.1
Not sure I like some of the app redesigns but as an IOS it is fine for me.

Yep, same here, seems stable, like some of the enhancements to core apps, dark mode is nicely implemented, really like the new CarPlay design.

I mean, OP, if you're worried about an x.0 vs. x.1 release, just wait 2 days :D

Thanks all for the kind replies.
I will certainly wait for 13.1...

My biggest worries are to have a slower and less responsive phone when loading iMessage or other frequent apps, and a battery that could last less but looks like the battery performance is similar to iOS 12 and speed (in particular FaceID) is further increased. Magic.

iOS 11 was a car crash, then iOS 12 came along and saved everything. I hope iOS 13 follows iOS 12 and not iOS 11.

I put it on my X. Pretty disappointed. Lots of UI bugs and touch issues. I just upgraded to the 11 pro and it exhibits the same issues with 13.0. Hoping 13.1 smooths things out.

I know 13.1 is coming out in a couple of days but I would just go ahead and jump on it now.. 13.0 is the real beta compared to 13.1

It's crazy how much faster it feels. Feels more responsive, Face ID works faster.

Are there bugs? Oh my yes there are many. I'd give it until 13.1 honestly!

Have been running iOS 13 on my X since the 19th. It's definitely a speed improvement (including Face ID) and there are lots of great new features in iOS 13. As expected for a .0 release there are a few bugs but nothing severe. So I think you should definitely update (but maybe you should wait 1 more day for 13.1 where the biggest bugs should be ironed out).
