iPod touch iOS 14 on 7th Gen iPod - Mail Push Retrieval of Email

I apologize if I should be posting this to another forum, but I'm not sure if the problem I'm having is an iPod (7th Gen) problem, or one associated with iOS 14.

I recently upgraded to iOS 14, and since doing so I notice that I don't get a "push" option for my email. Even though I have "Push" selected in "Fetch New Data" in my Accounts settings, the only way I receive email is to actually open my mail app and pull down to retrieve mail.

Has anyone else encountered this?

[UPDATE] I just downloaded the recent update to the iOS, 14.01, and it does seem that push notifications of email is now working.
