The iTunes Remote app used to work great for me when I had my previous iPhone and Macbook Air. Now I have a newer phone 13 Mini running iOS 16.5.1 and an M2 Macbook Air running Ventura 13.4 and Remote cannot connect to my iTunes library.

When I try to set up a connection to an iTunes library manually from the phone, the Mac seems to respond in that a remote listing shows up on the left side of the screen for me to select and I am able to enter the four-digit code displayed on the phone. The Mac says that the Remote app is properly paired and can now share music to it. Unfortunately, the iTunes library does not show up on the Remote iPhone App.

I have also tried turning on Home Sharing on both devices but to no avail.

I have restarted both my phone and Mac. I have deleted the Remote app and re-downloaded it from the App Store. Nothing is helping.

Would appreciate advice. Thanks.
