I use ios 9.3.5 on my ipod touch and several times there has been a brief dialog message saying to please wait while bookmarks are synced. I don't understand why this should be happening because I have disabled iCloud and I don't permit it to upload my bookmarks or other information to my computer or to iCloud servers.
Can anyone suggest how I can prevent this? thanks
