Did it yesterday. Wiped my phone and then updated. Its very smooth and fast. However I'm noticing my battery is crap. I had mine replaced a few months ago too. When I check screen time, Im at 72% with 1:40 min of usage. On 10.3.3 I could get around 2hrs per 10%. Consistently Id see 1-2hrs at 90%, 3-4hrs at 80% so on....
Hopefully they address is with 12.0.1. Other than that its great. Havent noticed one glitch yet.
BTW: I have Background refresh to only work with Google Maps and Location settings are at a minimum.

Updated my 6S+ to iOS 12 ytd via iTunes.

Great first impressions - performance is like what everyone described and as Apple advertised.

Exponentially more stable and smoother than what 11.0 was. Would recommend to update!

That was usage, not screen on time. Totally different.

How can u know usage time compared to battery life percentage? Is there an app for that?

You’re 100% right. I just saw that a few minutes ago. I don’t really care about screen time. I turned that off.

At 46% battery I had five hours of usage time. I think that’s pretty good for a 6S plus.

Just go to battery under settings and scroll down and it will show you your usage time and stand by time .
I was wrong when I posted my comment yesterday. I was looking at the new screen time app instead of just battery usage under the batteries category within Settings
So far the update on my 6S plus has been 100% on all facets

My 6S occasionally stutters when I swipe through the different home screen pages, but otherwise it’s been fine.

You are on iOS 9? Then why would you update? I'm still on iOS 9 on my 6s and it's working perfectly.

I guess "working perfectly" isn't always the best argument one can depend upon. ;)
Yeah, there are tradeoffs, definitely. Not enough to sway me, though, in my opinion. Your mileage may vary, of course.

That doesn’t seem right. Swiping is perfectly smooth on my iphone 6. Is there a chance throttling is enabled in the battery settings menu?

Nope, all is good. It's a little lag here and there, but worth it since now I can download the apps that I couldn't on ios9

Battery life?
I believe my iPhone 6s Plus has hold up its battery life quite the same as when it was on iOS 9.
Granted when on iOS 9, it was jailbroken and sometimes tweaks are culprits to battery drainage.
I wouldn’t worry too much; I would actually do it again if I have too, on updating an iPhone 6s.
My reasoning with updating (back in March) was because I wanted to use an Apple Watch. I have no regrets whatsoever

Battery life? ******. That's the sad truth. I upgraded to iOS 12.3.1 and it ruined my dear 6s. LTE has come down 2 bars and there's nothing I can do. And it will surely not make me buy a new iPhone. Au contraire. It's slower and battery life has gone crazy. I'm done with iPhones. I'll keep this old fart and that's it. Now, for all of you that iOS 12 have done miracles, please tell me what I've done wrong. I use only Apple apps not even Facebook and Instagram. I thought about wiping the damn thing and starting from scratch.
