Since updating to IOS17, I have not been able to transfer songs playing to my HomePod mini. It tries and then I get an error message telling me it’s unable to transfer music via AirPlay. Is there a fix for this?

Wait for the next update. See if Apple have been able to improve it. It is just truly garbage how it is at the moment, along with most of their connected services. “It just doesn’t work”

rebooting your router and HomePod may help

but as stumpy said it's got some issues right now.

Maybe this information will help. When I went into the Home app and selected the HomePod mini, I got this screen.

It has (supposedly) been configuring for over four hours now! So, basically, my HomePod mini is currently a brick. When I tapped on the Mini to wake it up, it did. I asked it to play a song, it replied it could not connect with the Internet.
