Hi guys,

I've had no success from day one getting handoff to work on my iPad 3rd Gen (Wifi + Cell, 64GB). This iPad has Bluetooth 4.0, and my understanding is there should be a Handoff toggle in Settings -> General. I am attempting to connect this to a MacBook Pro 13" (Retina, Late 2013) running Yosemite. Both iPad and MacBook Pro have been updated with each of the latest betas when they were released, the iPad from DFU restores, and the MBP from a clean partition. While it hasn't work in each iteration of the beta releases, its becoming evident that this is not a bug with the beta.

Bluetooth functions correctly on both iPad and MBP.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if not, can someone confirm that the iPad 3rd Gen is in fact compatible? I can find no discussions online that state either way, and every list of compatible devices i've seen, the iPad 3rd Gen (with retina screen) is included.

Any input greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
