iPad iPad Air 2 - upgrade to iPadOS or keep 12?

Hey everyone,
I have been holding off upgrading to iPadOS 13 on my iPad Air 2 for a long time now. Mostly due to all the bugs initially. For those who upgraded, is there any noticeable performance and battery loss/improvement?
Any input is highly appreciated! Thanks!

My Air2 is on 13.5.1 and runs very well.. I plan on updating to iOS14 when it's released and I'm confident it will run well on that version too..

There are even people who have iPadOS 14 beta on their Air 2 and are having good experiences with it. Same with my 11 Pro (2018).

I'm surprised it runs 13 so well but I'm worried given the age of the iPad that Apple will get up to their old tricks with 14 on older HW. Will they neuter the Air 2 like they used to do older HW?

One of the reason I upgrade to 13 is due to its specific version for iPad.

Single tasking is fine under iPadOS 13 in contrast to multitasking. Multitasking clearly shows the age of my iPad Air 2. I believe iPadOS 13 is optimized for 4 GB devices and the Air 2 has only 2 GB.

Battery life is fine with iPadOS 13.
