Ipad air2 and ios 14.8.1

I have recently downloaded the 14.8.1 update on my Ipad air2 And ever since I have my Ipad is sketchy.
1. Battery seems to be draining very quickly.
2. I cannot download any new web pages into my Ibooks.
3. The touch sensitivity of the screen has decreased. I have to touch it sometime 2-3 times for it to work.
4. Internet and Safari speeds have slowed down tremendously.
5. Also do you have any tips to speed up 14.8.1?
I have over 100 Gigabytes available so storage capacity is not the issue. Prior to the update my Ipad operated smoothly and without any failures. Is anybody having the same kinds of issues? Please assist.

I updated my Air2 last night and everything is working normally. Battery usage is same as 14.8 and performance is quite good considering it's age. Sounds like maybe your download was corrupted in some way. Restoring may be your only option.
