Ipad and Smart Watch?

Hi guys

i dont own a pc or mac or smart phone, just an ipad pro.

looking for a smart watch that’ll happily and easily pair up to and ipad. Any suggestions?

dont a ton of research with no results. Will the new ipad OS (when released) let the Apple watch connect? Do fitbits, google watches, garmins etc etc seamlessly connect? Cant get any answers from anywhere.

Why Apple wont let their own smart watch products connect/pair to their own ipad products is nuts.

At this point in time, the Apple Watch cannot pair with an iPad. I am not really familiar with those other products abilities.
