I'm looking for a new case for an iPad 9.7" (6th gen 2018) for my dad. He's seen one he likes on eBay, but when I select the model of his iPad, his isn't there. The nearest is the iPad 9.7" 2017 model. Will this fit his iPad please? Thank you.

Hope you bought a quality and suitable one. As per your question, yes you can. Since the iPad 2017 and the latest one have the same dimensions, it wouldn’t be a problem if you opted for the previous version case. Both of their measurements are 240 x 169.5 x 7.5mm and weighing in at 469g for the Wi-Fi model and 478g for the mobile version. When I purchase a wood iPad case from a shop I found online, I had the same problem but good thing was I did my research and able to purchase such a quality case. Hope this helps.
