iPad mini 1 downgrade firmware

hello,

I have a iPad mini 1 with firmware 9.3.5 and I need to downgrade, its working extremly slow.
Do you have suggestions to what version I should downgrade? And I guess the regular way probably won't work so I'll need to jailbreak I guess?
First need to find out which version, then I'll head towards jaikbreak forum.
