I have wasted days trying to figure out how to jailbreak my iPad mini on 12.4.5 and have been defeated. The closest I got was the fake version of cydia. The only thing I'm trying to accomplish with a jailbreak is to use activator to command the screen to come on when usb power is on and make it go to sleep when usb power is removed. Is there any alternative way to make this happen without jailbreak/cydia and activator? I would really appreciate any advise that helps me achieve this. I'm embarrassed by how long I've already invested in trying to achieve this one task with my iPad!
