I'm thinking of buying a iPad Mini 16GB Cellular(I'm guessing it's 3G/LTE).

Q1: Are all iPad Mini's the same 3G and LTE bands or are the 3G bands worldwide and LTE bands different? (Just like the iPhone 5)

I travel to HK a lot and I'll need it for my next business trip, so I'm wondering if I can use the 3G/LTE in HK or not? (I'm buying a Canadian version, probably same as the US's)

Q2: If I line up tomorrow morning, will I be able to pick up a 3G/LTE + Wifi 16GB model in store or are the stores only selling Wifi versions tomorrow?

Thanks.

Like the iPhone 5, you will have to select the LTE Mini with the compatible bands. The AT&T iPhone 5 was compatible with Canada but not most of Europe LTE.

I've pre-ordered a mini for when I travel to the US in mid-November. I'm based in the UK so I went for the Sprint version which seemed to list more compatibility on LTE here in the UK (Band 3 on EE).

Here's the spec pages from cellular data - http://www.apple.com/ipad/LTE/
