Just installed iPad OS 13.1 on my iPad Air. Man, the folders and icons inside them are significantly smaller than under iOS 12. Is there any way to change this? I don't like the look of these super small icons.

BTW, this is happening on my iPhone X as well.

The folder icons now are so small they hold 16 icons in one folder. I would love a way to change this.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Ok, so I found a setting under Display & Brightness (not the Brightness from the Stormlight Archives) but even when setting that to Bigger, the icons in the folders are still too small.

So still looking for any way to make the icons bigger if possible so that there is only 12 on a folder page instead of 16.

Thanks.

Go to Settings, then display & brightness to change the size.

Settings > Display & Brightness > scroll down to Home Screen Layout > Choose more or bigger.

Thanks, but really didn't help. Maybe I'll get used to it. But liked the look in iOS 12 better.

You can also hide Today’s View in the left corner, then you get exactly the same screen layout as it was in iOS 12. This is mine, running iOS 13.1 beta 4:

It works out great on the 12.9” iPad. I can have more apps on one screen now and have widgets show at the same time.
