iPad os 17.3.1 has allowed me to disable multitasking – Settings> Multitasking and Gestures.

I am a senior citizen and prior to updating to 17.3.1 Split View and Slide Over had been an utter nuisance.

That option has been available for years, but yes, it can be valuable for people who don't want to, or can't, work with the multitasking system on iPads.

This is amazing! I just learned about this for some reason. This great feature has not been discussed at all. Multitasking on the iPad is horrible, finally they allow us to turn this crap off again
