In all the coverage of yesterday I’ve seen the compatibility lists for iOS and watch OS, but nobody seems to be talking about what devices the new iPad OS will support - is there a definitive list from Apple yet? I’m hoping my trusty Pro 10.5 (from 2017) might still make the cut, based on rumours.

“iPad (6th generation and later), iPad mini (5th generation and later), iPad Air (3rd generation and later), 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2nd generation and later), 10.5-inch iPad Pro, and 11-inch iPad Pro (1st generation and later).”
It’s good news for my 10.5.
Both my 5th Generation 12" iPad Pro and first generation 11" iPad Pro have the latest beta 16.5 installed.
The option to update to iPad OS 17 comes up on the 12" iPad Pro but not the 11" iPad Pro
Any reason why that might be? The 11" is a compatible device after all and Apple made the betas available to everyone.

Bummer - this will be the last update my 5th gen Mini (best/favorite form factor for me) gets. Barring any serious security issues, will probably keep going with it for a while though
