I am using Pages on an iPad Air 3rd generation (OS 16.3.1).
Until yesterday, everything was aok but I was editing a password protected document (as I had done many times before) when the keyboard suddenly disappeared. I closed the document and opened an unprotected doc and the keyboard was there. I tried several other unprotected docs and the keyboard was there. Then I tried other protected documents but there was no keyboard.
The keyboard was present in all other apps requiring a keyboard.
I have shut down the iPad and restarted it several times but the keyboard was still absent in protected documents and now it is also absent in SOME but not all unprotected docs.
Overnight there was an update available for pages and I did the update but it made no difference to the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem? Can someone tell me how to regain the keyboard?
