iPad Pro Ipad Pro 12.9 2022 fits the 'old' magic keyboard?

Does anyone know if the 'old' magic keyboard fit the new iPad pro 2022? I have now the iPad Pro 2020, but want to upgrade to the 2022 version.

It fits perfectly without a screen protector. Apparently it won’t close entirely (but it will be close) if you use a thick screen protector, but I’m having trouble finding out what exact extra thickness is OK. It seems like very thin film based protectors are within tolerance.

But why use screenprotector when you have the magic keyboard?

As long as it’s only film, not glass screen protector you should be fine.
People use screen protector for various reasons. Some are paranoid to accidental scratch (when detached from keyboard), or better drawing (for paper-like type).

I never use a screen protector on my ipads and i really wear them off, but i never saw any scratch on the screen.

It does. I have the original Magic Keyboard that I used my 2018 iPad Pro on, and it still fits the M2
