This is my estimate, based on the Product Environmental Report from Apple, where they report the consumption of the Ipads....

For me battery life is much more important than a thinner device... but if a 30% increase of battery life is real, I would buy.....

Looks like the OLED with 10Hz refresh is making a big difference.

The improved heat dissipation with the apple logo should also help.

My M1 gets warm in higher brightness conditions.

That is very interesting. If that is true it will be similar to some reviewers that reported extraordinary battery life on these new M4 iPPs.

Very strange how the idle wattage of the M4 iPPs are so much lower than previous generations. Is it due to the new M4 chips or is it due to OLED? That means the new M4s MacBooks will have even more ridiculous battery life?

Where do you get the information btw? I don't know how to access product environmental report for example.
