I have an unlimited AT&T data plan on my iPad pro 9.7 but there is no sim card inserted into it. I have my account logins, etc. How do I transfer the plan back to a Sim card so I can use it in an older iPad and also in my AT&T hotspot.

I don't have a similar circumstance but I hope you get some responses from users with 1st hand experience with the embedded SIM card on the 9.7" iPP.

I just keep wondering if you are in a Locked position now, with your provider, and will you have to get them to Unlock your iPad.

I've transfered my AT&T unlimited data plan to 4 different ipads so far. The last time I did it, I didn't even have to take out the SIM card and transfer it to the new iPad. Once you activate the new iPad, you can transfer it over with your AT&T info via wifi over the Internet. Very simple as I recall. AT&T will just dedicate your plan from one iPad to the other.
