I am having a strange issue while watching/streaming video content on the tv app, VLC or from the youtube app.

The video's black point seems to shift up when the display has scenes when there is a contrast in brightness, ie very dark with multiple bright lights in the scene.

The blacks in the scene look grey for more than a few seconds before it slowly transitions back to the correct black point/level.

Not sure if there a setting I need to change in iPadOS, like some kind of dynamic adjustment or something?
I don’t see anything, also feel the effect does not seem intentional, so?

Does anyone else experience this?

Thank you,

Fixed -- In Settings -> Accessibility -> Motion, Turn OFF "Dim Flashing Lights".

The setting was on by default with my iPadPro.

In the YT app, while playing a video, click the Playback SETTINGS cog, select additional settings and then make sure the ambient mode is turned off. it turns black bars grey with it on.
